Financial aid for a postsecondary education starts with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. The information below will help you get started.
FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid, and it's an important form for aspiring students in need of financial aid for postsecondary education.
We've outlined a two step process to help you fill out your FAFSA. We've even included a video to show you how to create your FSA ID.
You need a six-character code called a Federal School Code to complete your FAFSA. Find Federal School Codes for Universal Technical Institute, NASCAR Tech, Motorcycle Mechanics Institute, and Marine Mechanics Institute by clicking the link below.
If you need assistance while completing your FAFSA, we're here to help. You can schedule an appointment with one of our FA Support Specialists online by clicking the link below. Or call toll-free at (844) 338-0032.
The Save Key is a code you create between 4 and 8 characters long. It is created for temporary use and allows you or your parent to return and complete an unsubmitted FAFSA.
